Washington State District Graduation Requirements Database

As an accessible tool to compare basic credit requirements for all high school diplomas across the state, the State Board of Education has posted a database of graduation credit requirements for each of the 246 districts with high schools.

Statistics for individual districts are based on 2007 or 2008 graduation requirements.  Where provided, the database uses most recent figures.

The information was collected at the request of the Board’s Meaningful High School Diploma Committee, which was formed at the direction of the 2006 state Legislature to develop and propose a revised definition of the purpose and expectations for high school diplomas.

The database is in an Excel file and a PDF file.  You can download the Excel file to sort the information presented.
