What are EALRs and GLEs?
EALR = Essential Academic Learning Requirements
GLE = Grade Level Expectations
These are terms educators use to describe what students must know and be able to do in each grade (K-10) according to the requirements for all schools under state law. GLEs describe the EALRs in more detail and serve as the basis for what will be tested on the WASL.
