The State Board of Education will meet in Olympia September 14 and 15 to continue its focus on WASL math scores, a critical issue for educators, parents and students statewide. The board will discuss how changes to graduation requirements and joint initiatives with the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) and the Professional Educators Standards Board (PESB) will help more students succeed in math. The board will meet at the Olympia School District Board Room, at 1113 Legion Way, Olympia. The public and the news media are invited.
