WA Learning First Alliance
The Washington State Learning First Alliance (WSLFA) is a group of education organizations dedicated to improving student learning. Together, the State Board of Education, the Washington State Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (Washington State ASCD), Association of Washington School Principals (AWSP), Washington State School Directors' Assocation (WSSDA), Washington Association of School Administrators (WASA), the Washington Education Assocation (WEA), the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), and the Washington State Parent Teacher Association (WSPTA) meet regularly to share examples of success, encourage collaboration, and work toward the continual and long-term improvement of public education based on solid research.
Our purpose is to ensure:
- that high academic expectations are held for all Washington students;
- a safe and supportive place of learning for all Washington students; and
